Design for Students is dedicated to helping industrial design / product innovation students (and anyone else who is interested in design). Darren, the creator of the site, is also an industrial design student studying at the University of South Australia. Design for Students will have tutorials on processes used by students (3D printing, laser cutting, workshop fabrication), examples of projects from an industrial design degree and anything else a design student may be interested in.
What makes Design for Students (DfS) unique is that it is oriented around, and for, students. DfS is possibly the only site where students can give their personal opinions and learnings about studying design.
Anyone interested in sharing their experiences, projects or difficulties studying design can do so by sending their idea/ proposal for a post to dazzmanfish@gmail.com , which will then be moderated and uploaded to the home page.
DfS relies on support from the people who use the site- the more people who use the site, the more it will grow and increase the amount of content it will publish. So please share this page on facebook, tell your friends or comment on posts & pages to show your support!
Thanks,
Design for Students.
